I love using my hands. I’m filled with joy when I see the tangible artefacts I make can create intangible experiences for people.
Table=chest is designed by Shin and Tomoko Azumi. When I was still an Industrial design student, I saw pictures of it in the book “Designing the 21st century” and became fascinated by its simple cuts and how it transformed to offer a new connotation by a minor change. I tried to build it from scratch by guessing the details from pictures in the book.
